Hi, and welcome to Wood 4 Mood! My name is Maja, and I’m the hands, heart, and soul behind this small Croatian business dedicated to creating one-of-a-kind wooden crafts. As an architect by profession and a lifelong creative, I’ve always been drawn to artistic expression. Whether through designing spaces or shaping wood, I find joy in crafting something meaningful and unique.

The name Wood 4 Mood reflects my belief that wood has a magical way of grounding us, bringing us closer to nature, and evoking a sense of calm and harmony. Every piece I create – from trays and bowls to vases and holder sticks – is meant to carry that essence, transforming simple objects into mood-enhancing treasures for your home.

Many of my early creations came to life while I hummed my favorite songs, and they even earned names inspired by those melodies – like Paint It Black or Beautiful Tonight. Each piece has its own story, shaped by my hands and guided by the natural patterns of the wood. I work with sustainable materials, using only fallen wood and avoiding chemicals, staying true to my values of simplicity and respect for nature.

This is not mass production – it’s craftsmanship. Every item is handmade with love and care, designed to be as unique as the person who chooses it. My goal is to share the beauty and tranquility that working with wood brings me, hoping it will inspire the same feelings in you.
